## 1 引言

## 2 支持的处理器和主板
自 2003 年中期以来，FreeBSD/amd64 支持 AMD64（“Hammer”）架构。它首次作为基于 FreeBSD 5.1-RELEASE 的实验性版本亮相。
截至撰写时，此 port 支持 Athlon64（“Clawhammer”）和 Opteron（“Sledgehammer”）机器。迄今测试的最大内存配置为 8GB。SMP 支持最近完成且相当稳定。
在许多方面，FreeBSD/amd64 在支持的驱动程序方面与 FreeBSD/i386 类似。某些（特别是较旧的）驱动程序可能存在 64 位清洁性问题。通常，已经在其他 64 位平台上正常工作的驱动程序应该可以工作。

## Querying This Documentation
