# thread\_exit.9

`thread_exit` — 放弃当前线程上下文

## 名称

`thread_exit`

## 概要

`#include <sys/param.h>`

`#include <sys/proc.h>`

`void thread_exit(void)`

## 描述

`thread_exit()` 函数实现线程关闭的机器无关前奏。它不会返回，并将导致调用 [mi\_switch(9)](/man/man9/mi_switch.9.md) 来调度其他线程。

`thread_exit()` 安排释放线程的所有资源，特别是内核栈。

为保护 [runqueue(9)](/man/man9/runqueue.9.md)，调用 `thread_exit()` 时必须持有 `sched_lock` 互斥锁。

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://book.bsdcn.org/man/man9/thread_exit.9.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
