# umodem.4

`umodem`

> device usb device ucom device umodem

```sh
umodem_load="YES"
```

该设备通过 [ucom(4)](/man/man4/ucom.4.md) 驱动访问，使其行为类似 [tty(4)](/man/man4/tty.4.md)。

* 3Com 5605
* Curitel PC5740 无线调制解调器
* Kyocera AH-K3001V 移动电话（WILLCOM）
* Kyocera WX320K 移动电话（WILLCOM）
* Metricom Ricochet GS USB 无线调制解调器
* Sierra MC5720 无线调制解调器
* Yamaha 宽带无线路由器 RTW65b
* ELSA MicroLink 56k USB 调制解调器
* Sony Ericsson W810i 手机
* Sonim XP5300 Force

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://book.bsdcn.org/man/man4/umodem.4.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
