`bwi` — Broadcom BCM43xx IEEE 802.11b/g 无线网络驱动

## 描述

`bwi` 驱动为基于 Broadcom BCM43xx 的 PCI/CardBus 网络适配器提供支持。

它支持 `station` 和 `monitor` 模式操作。任何时候只能配置一个虚拟接口。有关配置此设备的更多信息，请参见 [ifconfig(8)](/man/man8/ifconfig.8.md)。

此驱动要求先加载固件才能工作。在 [ifconfig(8)](/man/man8/ifconfig.8.md) 工作之前需要安装 `ports/net/bwi-firmware-kmod` port。

`bwi` 驱动使用较旧的 v3 版本 Broadcom 固件。虽然此较旧固件支持大多数 BCM43xx 部件，但 [bwn(4)](/man/man4/bwn.4.md) 驱动在其支持的较新芯片上工作得更好。如果使用较旧的 Broadcom 芯片组（BCM4301、BCM4303 和 BCM4306 rev 2），则必须使用 `bwi` 驱动。[bwn(4)](/man/man4/bwn.4.md) 使用的 v4 版本固件不支持这些芯片。
